What you learn and how
120 short lessons
24 pronunciation points explained against Chinese sounds; 8 new words per lesson, most with a picture; sentences you read, hear, build from blocks and say aloud.
Many ways to practice
Pick the picture, fill in the blank, dictation, sentence building and speaking. A missed question comes back later in a different form, and you can redo mistakes after each lesson.
Speaking practice
Apple's built-in speech recognition checks your sentence word by word. Recordings stay on your phone and are never uploaded.
Automatic review
Words and sentences return on a spaced-repetition schedule: quick, correct answers wait longer; misses come back tomorrow.
Your plan, weekly progress
10, 20 or 30 minutes a day on the days you choose. A 20-question weekly test reports listening, speaking, reading and writing.
